1/17/06. Sheetrocking started today. The downstairs ceiling is done.

Resilient channels for soundproofing in the music room. The sheetrock is screwed into the the upper section of each strip which is suspended from the wall. The weight of the sheetrock causes it to naturally hang away from the surface of the wall, to minimize trasfer of vibrations through the walls.
First 2006 oranges from our tree on Alabama St.
1/18/06. The cabinets arrived on a 74' semi. We met the truck in San Rafael and transfered the cabinets to Laddie's dump truck to get them to the house.
